Quick Fife update: big blue beam shooting up into the sky. #Fife #Normal

Night photograph, urban houses and street lighting but most of the frame is of an almost but not quite 8/8ths occluded cloudy sky illuminated from below by “normal” light pollution but also, as featured centre frame, a fricken great big blue laser beam as though Markinch is calling out for a Scottish Batman. Apparently it’s mounted on a train and is used for measuring overhead something or other. But you know what they say, “Beam in sky, we're all gonna die. Beam gone, carry on”.
