@samcoupe.com I’ve been porting my Spectrum code to SAM. Screen mode 1 is the same as Spectrum so (in addition to the above about RAM/ROM/ports) it’s also the same rendering code too. But then helpful folk like Quazar say “try adapting it to mode 2, it will run faster” and I’m off down another rabbithole…!
