@flatduckrecords.co.uk I also now appreciate that ZX-Ecutor sets up the palette registers etc. for you. (I tried my ROM in SimCoupé and took a while to work out why the screen was blank!) Ran into the ASIC start-up delay too (tried to set registers before it was ready). It was interesting to dig into.
